I am not into celebrity gossip, but it is fun to make fun of celebrities and their problems.  The writing is crisp, witty, and acidic.  Again, because it filters out most of the noise it is more digestible to me than, say, TMZ.com (which is also not as funny).

I didn't major in science as an undergrad, so many of these blogs post material that I don't have the education to understand.  I'm not a Democrat, so I don't have the same kind of politics as many of the writers of these blogs (in particular I've butted heads on Pharyngula and Respectful Ignorance).  But if you have any interest in scientific topics, this site is the place to be.  The organization is well done, the topic variety is great, and the quality of information is generally excellent.
